So said the little pillow in the gift shop at Cracker Barrel, where I took myself out for breakfast the Friday before last.

Things I’m currently finding therapeutic:

Epiphanie Camera Bags:

I’d like to have a bag that can hold all of my stuff at once. Right now I’ve got a hard case for my camera and flash, and only lenses go in my current camera bag. These bags at Epiphanie are cute, (so is the website!) but I can’t decide between Belle and Lola.

Apple 32GB iPod Touch:

Yes, I ranted about iPod/iTunes once a long time ago, but El Fiance bought me an older iPod shuffle and I kinda like it, except the earbud connection is bad. If I want to be able to hear the music in both earbuds, I have to hold the connector out at a specific spot and that’s kind of a pain in the butt. I also want to be able to create playlists instead of having to skip back and forth between songs to hear what I want.

And…*le SIGH*…I’m handbag hunting again. The zipper on my favorite black bag is broken, and I have a gold one that I liked a lot until the gold finished started rubbing off and the closure on that one broke. (Calvin Klein? I’m a little unhappy with you right now, just so you know.)   Longtime readers with good memories will know what a TRIAL it is for me to find a handbag I love. (I know, I KNOW…”You and your First World problems, Michelle, don’t you know natural disasters are happening?” Yes, yes I do. They are destructive and tragic and I am one of those weenies who donates to a helpful cause and then distracts herself with something shiny/pretty/chocolatey because I don’t like to see broken homes or families/sad, starving, desperate people.) Anyway. I’ve found two or three at TJ Maxx that I liked bar ONE simple detail, such as the Kermitesque color of an otherwise ideal Franco Sarto tote style bag, and the not-great looking “jewel” decoration on a Guess handbag I think I otherwise would have bought the first time I picked it up.

Also, new favorite Etsy shop – TimelessVixenVintage:

Totally asking for it

I am not, in any way, shape, or form, attempting to upgrade my computer. I do not, at present, have a new internal hard drive sitting here on my desk next to me. I am absolutely not inclined to attempt to install the new hard drive – which I do not possess – into my PC. Over the course of the next day or so, I will not be copying all my programs, documents, etc, onto my external hard drive, nor will I be digging around looking for software that will not need installing on the new hard drive that I do not possess. I have nothing to dread, but am mentally chewing my fingernails, anyway.

I have also not recently ordered my very first and very own laptop. I have no reason to be excited nor any occasion meriting the random bouts of “SQUEE!” that are not erupting from me. My darling PC has nothing about which to be jealous.

Wish me luck. ;)
